What we collect
When you message Biff Bot, we store:
- Your channel identifier (e.g. Telegram user ID, WhatsApp phone number)
- Your display name, if provided by the messaging platform
- Your detected or chosen language preference
- The content of messages you send and receive
- Timestamps of your interactions
How we use it
Your data is used solely to operate the bot — delivering responses, translating messages to your preferred language, and allowing our admin team to monitor conversations and provide support.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on infrastructure we control. Access to the admin dashboard is protected by two-factor authentication. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Third-party services
Messages are transmitted via the messaging platform you use (Telegram, WhatsApp). Translation is performed by a self-hosted LibreTranslate instance — your messages are not sent to external translation services.
Data retention
Message history is retained indefinitely. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us through the bot or via the contact details below.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, message the bot with your request or contact us directly.
